This release improves how cancellations and refunds are handled and shown in the Customer Portal.

Cancellation unspecified

In rare situations terminals attempt to cancel transactions, without providing the information needed to determine the type of the transaction that is being cancelled. In the past these transactions were not visible in the transaction overview. This release we added functionality to look up the transaction type ourselves. If we cannot determine the transaction type, the transaction will still be visible with type “Cancellation unspecified”. Transactions with this type do not contribute to the revenue totals.

Improved handling of failed cancellations and refunds

When a cancellation or a refund failed in the past, the transaction being modified received the wrong status. In other cases the cancellation/refund was not linked to the original transaction. This release fixes both scenarios. When a cancellation or a refund fails, the status of the original transaction will not be modified, and the failed refund / cancellation will be visible on the transaction details page.

Location updates by other users

When a location was changed by another user or in a different tab, these changes were not visible until the page was refreshed or after a logging out and logging in again. This release makes sure that the newest data is automatically retrieved when a user opens the location pages, so a refresh is no longer needed.
